I don’t usually make commercial endorsements, but this one seems worth making, even though I’m not getting paid. Occasionally as Christians we find something that moves us and even sustains us, and I’ve found that in the music of Page CXVI.
The group arranges familiar, sacred hymns in innovative, modern ways. I find many of the songs to be astonishingly beautiful. One of them, “Joy,” seems quite strange at first, until you let it play out. Then you realize you’re hearing some very mature theology being expressed musically.
Now if they would just tour on the east side of the country.
